What was your favorite hiding place as a child? What about now?
Hi there!
This is no longer an active blog. Sorry about that! I've moved my most intriguing questions and answers to my personal blog, shirleytwofeathers. There are some good links here, so feel free to explore, have a great day!

At boarding school, I hid under the back stairs... it was dark and quiet, and I hung out with the dog under there. What was really cool, is that I could hear what people were saying in the kitchen too. So that was a bonus. I was hiding and I was spying at the same time.
Home from boarding school, I liked to hide in trees. I'd climb up high enough to get settled on a branch where no one could see me.
Nowadays, I hide in my house and hang out with my computer. It's not really hiding ... and yet it is.
I had no need of a hiding place, I was an only child and both my parents worked so I had all the alone time anyone could want.
Pretty much the same now, just me and my hubby and the house is big enough I can just go into another room for some quiet.
Usually as a child, i'd uselessly hide behind curtains with my feet sticking out. Now, if by hiding you mean grabbing some space, i like to drive, stopping to photograph now and then.
I've always hidden in books. Even in a room full of people, you can dive into a story and poof..you're gone!
As children we played in the street (no traffic then)under a gas lamp which, we would shin up and blow out as soon as the lamp lighter had lit it and dissapeared 50 yds up the road.My favourite hiding place was inside the gate in the thick bushes of the vicaridge that was opposite.
Now we escape to our little caravan in North Devon and hide. (no mobile phones its in a deep valley so no reception HOORAY).
