Do you really look at people? Do you really see the person who rings up your groceries at the supermarket? What do you think would happen if you took the time to really see each person you interacted with every day? How would your life change?
Hi there!
This is no longer an active blog. Sorry about that! I've moved my most intriguing questions and answers to my personal blog, shirleytwofeathers. There are some good links here, so feel free to explore, have a great day!

Actually, I don't look at people. I don't look at myself. I look at the sidewalk, the parking lot, the grass... I look at trees and flowers and birds. I wonder why it is that I don't actually look at the people I interact with from day to day.
Today I'm going to try an experiment. I'm going to actually really look at everyone. Well, probably I ought to extend this experiment to tomorrow as well since I don't plan to go anywhere today... LOL...
I'll check back and post my results as soon as I knwo what they are.
Nothing to report yet, I did not go anywhere yesterday. So tonight, I'll post a comment on how it went today... To tell the truth, I'm a little nervous about "being real" and "being present" with people I don't know.
So I did do this today. At first I forgot, and let several opportunities pass me by, but when I remembered it led to some interesting interactions with the people at the little grocery store I stopped at. It seemed that they all wanted to talk to me, and pretty soon they were telling me all kinds of personal stuff. It was kind of cool actually.
