Do you think love is the answer? And if you think it is, how would it answer yesterday's question? And if you think it isn't, then what is?
Hi there!
This is no longer an active blog. Sorry about that! I've moved my most intriguing questions and answers to my personal blog, shirleytwofeathers. There are some good links here, so feel free to explore, have a great day!

I definitely think love is the answer! To everything! As far as it relates to yesterday's question, I think the key ingredient is to LOVE OURSELVES! I think it all starts there. We have to love and treasure and respect ourselves first, before anything else, in order to be truly happy. Otherwise, there is room for jealousy, bitterness, anger, etc. And even the people in my life that I don't like very well, I try very hard to love them at least on some deep level, by reminding myself that they, too, are God's children, put on this earth for some purpose that we may never know.
I think if we truly loved ourselves, those crazy thoughts in our head that put us down and say mean things to us would go away and all be replaced by nicer, kinder ideas.
Cindy, I agree. I do believe that love is the answer to everything. And I think that me loving myself is the answer to all my problems, procrastinations, agony, angst, anxiety, etc.. etc.. ad infinitum...
It occurs to me in this moment, that possibly me loving me.. really loving me.. loving me the way the sun loves the earth, me loving me the way flowers love the sky, me loving me the way that stars shine and grass grows... that kind of me loving me might even have a huge impact on every individual person, place, or thing around me - maybe even on the world at large...
I don't know why I can't just give in and do it. Probably it's the most natural and easy thing there is! I probably wear myself out with all my resistance to the love that I am!
Melissa, I'm glad you had a realization! Love yourself and listen to yourself! And the whole idea of job hopping being a "bad thing" is outdated - it used to be but I've read numerous articles about how that's the norm now - most people DON'T stay at the same company for years and years - that's a thing of the past!
Try to love yourself as much as Kurt and I and so many others love you! :)
I love you Melissa and I am really glad that you are going to give yourself the same sweet support that you give me and all your other friends!
love can make you so happy until its gone and then you have to find love in your own heart and the person that you have become regardless of all defenses that have been built since all the hurt.
