Dreams

Have you ever had a really interesting dream? What was it? And did it "come true" or was it helpful in any way?

I have LOTS of interesting dreams! Most of my friends have commented that I have more dreams than most people do, or at least weirder dreams.

I have had a lot of psychic dreams where people who have passed on have told me things. Sometimes they are people I don't know very well or haven't seen in years, and they usually talk to me before I have found out they died.

I also have a lot of "epic movie" dreams, most of which are horror films, which I hate, and of which I am one of the people being terrorized.

Just last night I had a really long, detailed dream that was set 1,000 years in the future. There was a lot of gore, but there were also a lot of interesting ideas about the way things have changed in 1,000 years, and there was also a bit of a love story involved, in which I was one of the central characters! (So maybe it will come true in 1,000 years?!?) Every time I have one of those dreams I always say I need to write it all down, it would make a great screenplay but so far, I haven't done it. I know, I know, I NEED TO!!!

I also had one REALLY COOL dream where my deceased mom gave me a full body hug and I woke up smiling and my entire body was covered in goose bumps! That's probably the coolest dream I have ever had and there is not a doubt in my mind that I was actually being hugged by my mom!!

I dream a lot too.

I have recurring sci/fi dreams about the end of the world. Sometimes they are scary, sometimes they are exciting, sometimes they are interesting. But they are always really vivid and intense... like I am really there, and most of the time I can remember what happened the last time I was in the dream. It's very surreal.

When I was in grade school I had a series of dreams that I would fall off of buildings... and then I would startle and wake up. And then in one memorable dream, I realized that I was in a dream and that all I had to do was believe I could fly and I could. This started a series of really wonderful flying dreams - which I do still sometimes experience even now.

It's like I have this knowing that if I can be absolutely sure... 100% positive about it... no doubt... no fear.... I CAN fly. And in the dreams, the feeling I get is like a deep deep peace mixed with anticipation.

And I really think that if I could have that same exact feeling in the waking state, I would be able not only to fly - but to do absolutely anything I wanted to do.

Those are my favorite dreams!
