Hi there!

This is no longer an active blog. Sorry about that! I've moved my most intriguing questions and answers to my personal blog, shirleytwofeathers. There are some good links here, so feel free to explore, have a great day!

What if

If you knew that it would be impossible to fail, is there something you would get started doing right away?

Wouldn't it be even more fun and interesting if you didn't know for sure that failure was impossible?

Ok, this question is going to require some thought... so I'm thinking about it.

If I knew for certain that financial failure and ruin was impossible, I would quit my job tomorrow and finish my screenplays and get them sold and produced!!!!
No, it would NOT be more interesting and fun if failure was possible...because that fear is what's holding me back right now, and I promise you it's NOT FUN! It's paralyzing and exhausting.

Ok, I've been thinking about this and here goes:

1. I would begin a healthy diet, and daily meditation practice.
2. I would send slides of my art to a high end art gallery in New York or Chicago.
3. I would submit a CD of the Middle of the Night Art to a coffee table book publisher.
4. I would start working on my interactive labyrinth.
5. I would be really excited that my blogs would finally begin to pay off.
6. I would quit my job in order to pursue my life as an artist.

Oh, by the way... I agree totally with Melissa. Not knowing if I will succeed or fail does NOT make life more interesting. It exhausts me as well, and keeps me stuck in the muck and mire of "should I.. could I.. do I.. don't I.."
