I need to know that I am loved, needed, and safe in the world.
Although, if I knew for sure that I was loved and needed, the safe in the world part wouldn't be so important.. because after all... no one is safe in this world.
And I do know that I am loved and needed... and yet it still isn't enough... maybe I need to know that "God" loves me and needs me...
Or maybe I just need to love myself... and in loving myself, I might know that I am needed and important not for what I "do" but for who I am in this imperfect human form.
And maybe if I loved and valued my self - flaws and all - I might actually feel a lot safer in the world...
I need to know that I am safe no matter what. This seems to be a common theme with our group I think...If I know I am safe, I will be more fearless, more confident, more free to love and do and be...
