Hi there!
This is no longer an active blog. Sorry about that! I've moved my most intriguing questions and answers to my personal blog, shirleytwofeathers. There are some good links here, so feel free to explore, have a great day!

Hmmm... well, I think too much money would be when you have so much that you can successfully isolate and insulate yourself from experiencing the discomforts, the aches and the pains that allow your heart to expand and your compassion to grow.
If money doesn't have that effect on you, and your compassion expands as your income expands.. then I would say that -for you- there couldn't be too much money.
I personally would like to find out how much money would be too much money for me to have, and I would like to find that out by having so much more than "enough" that it might even fall into the range of "too much"...
I think any amount of money can be too much money if you don't have love. I totally agree with Shirley - if your compassion grows with your income, there couldn't be too much. I am certainly willing to test the theory and see how much money is too much!!
"Who are you when you are not worrying?"
When I'm swimming in the ocean and don't have a job to go for the whole summer! When I'm cycling down a not too steep hill with the wind at my back.
When it's a beautiful spring day with the sun on my face and I'm singing a song.
How is that different from who you are when you are worrying?
I am worrying when I want something so bad and all the work that I have put it into it will be lost...when all the little things are piling...I look in the mirror and see the lines of age and worry build up on my face
How is that different from who you are when you are worrying?
When I worry I am old and grey,
When I don't worry I am a child again.
I'm sorry, annonymous, but I think you've got this answer under the wrong question.
Different anonymous here - There is not such thing as too much money - there is what you have - if it is alot and you suffer the infamouly powerfully bad effects of that, then it isn't a function of the money.
